You’re invited! Thursday November 14th 5:00-7:00pm, please stop by and join me for a solo art show at the Brenton Hotel on America’s Cup Avenue in downtown Newport!

The Newport Artists Collective, of which I am a member, hosts an Artist Salon every Thursday evening. Each week, the Salon features a local artist or gallery. Photographer artist, Curtis Speer of CUSP Gallery has, well, speerheaded the initiative to reinvigorate Newport’s art scene with great success. In late 2023, Speer collaborated with the newly built Brenton Hotel to be the main hosting venue for the Salon Series. The hotel’s nautical chic Living Room lounge overlooks the Northeast corner of Newport harbor and the docks at Newport Yacht Club. The interior decor has been carefully curated to created comfortable intimate spaces for small groups to gather and mingle harborside. The crisp white marble bar clad with orchids is inviting, and mixologist Maurice never disappoints with creating craft cocktails or pouring a delicate glass of bubbly. Grateful thanks to the staff at Brenton Hotel to help rearrange furniture and easels and for providing a decadent grazing board of charcuterie and cash bar. This Artist Salon event is free and open to the public. Please bring friends, meet fellow art enthusiasts, and experience a taste of Newport’s vibrant art community.
